At Kamome Academy, rumors abound about the school’s Seven Mysteries, one of which is Hanako-san. Said to occupy the third stall of the third floor girls’ bathroom in the old school building, Hanako-san grants any wish when summoned. Nene Yashiro, an occult-loving high school girl who dreams of romance, ventures into this haunted bathroom…but the Hanako-san she meets there is nothing like she imagined. Kamome Academy’s Hanako-san…is a boy.

Review :-

It’s a good show, the art style is similar to the manga, and overall they really did manage to capture all of the characters the same way as they were in the manga. I’m just a little disappointed due to the fact they skipped two arcs, a minor and a major one. The three clock keepers arc being a major one considering that it’s about one of the seven wonders and one of them is Nene’s classmate. Plus, he’s pretty relevant to the plot, especially with the latest chapters of the manga. The other one is a minor one, it’s basically about Nene searching for Hanako and honestly not much happens but they do kiss which is pretty cute. I don’t mind the minor one getting skipped but the three clock keepers one is pretty important and actually one of my favourite arcs in the series.
